To Our Valued Patients and their families:

At Main Street Dental, our priority is always the health and safety of every patient that enters our doors along with our staff!

Considering everything that is going on today and all the conflicting news surrounding the COVID-19 virus, we wanted to take a moment to assure you that we have taken all necessary precautions. Dr. Kennedy and our Staff are staying on top of all the latest updates that the CDC (Centers for Disease Control), the NIH (National Institute of Health), the WHO (World Health Organization) and the White House Special Medical Team provides us.

Our Goal is to ensure that when you come to our facility, you can feel confident that every precaution is being taken to ensure a safe environment for you to be treated for your dental issue

Rest assured that our standards for cleaning each patient room and our facility have always been very thorough, however, during this time we have increased our efforts in each clinic. These actions include, but are not limited to, continually cleaning, and disinfecting hard surfaces and frequently touched areas and items.

As the experts from the CDC and all the health organizations have instructed everyone to do, we encourage you and your family to please:

  • Family members/caregivers accompanying patients are asked to wait outside the office.
  • Do not bring in any outside food or beverages.
  • We ask that you not shake hands.
  • Wash your hands regularly with soap and water. This is one of the best ways to protect you and your loved ones from the spread of germs. Don’t forget to clean the ‘webs’ between your fingers and thumbs.
  • We ask that ALL who enter the office use the hand sanitizer upon entry and to use hand sanitizers any time you touch a hard surface.
  • Minimize touching your face, particularly your eyes or nose, with your hands.
  • Sneezing into tissues or your elbow are great ways to minimize spread of germs. Always wash your hands with soap and water after you sneeze.
  • If you have a cough or cold or have been in contact with an individual who has been in a hot spot (e.g. Italy, Iran) in the past 2 weeks please let us know.
  • If you present signs of a cold or the flu, your appointment will be cancelled and rescheduled for a later time.
  • We will wipe down all hard surfaces regularly during the day.
  • We have removed all magazines from the premises.
  • We are limiting the number of team members and patients in the office.
  • When possible, refrain from social events where large gatherings may occur.

Our team is dedicated to serving our community and wants to assure you that your health and care takes top priority for us. We will continue to stay close to everything the health community instructs us to do to keep everyone safe from this virus. If you are concerned or fearful of this pandemic, talk to Dr. Kennedy and our staff about it when you are with them.

We hope you and your family will stay safe during this exceedingly challenging time for our country.

Regards,

Your Dental Care Team at
